Elizabeth & Diego/Sunken Gardens Engagement , St. Pete. FL

Friday, November 10, 2017

When Elizabeth said she wanted to do their session at Sunken Gardens in St. Pete I was thrilled. It has been a long time since I've had the chance to shoot there.  I had almost forgotten about it.  It's a beautiful place for a session. There is an abundance of  lush, tropical flora's and Fauna's.  The pergola's, pathways and bridges add to the abundance of options for photos.  The flamingos and fish add a splash of whimsy and color on top of color.  Oh and I just have to mention the dress! How perfect is it for these floral and flamingo shots? The options at Sunken gardens are endless!  Elizabeth and Diego plan to be married in Puerto Rico, if the island can get back on it's feet in time.  One way or another, it will be a tropical island paradise of a day!

Gabby & Matt Maternity session/ Palma Sola Botanical Gardens, Bradenton, FL

Sunday, September 17, 2017

I first met Gabby at her sister's wedding.  I was captivated by her beauty.  I thought what a darling couple they are. I also have a great love and respect for her family.  So you can imagine my happiness when she contacted me to shoot her maternity session.  It was right after hurricane Irma hit Florida, so parks everywhere were a disaster.  Our original planned location was closed for another week so we had to pull an audible at the last minute.  we were racing the sun and chasing the light to get the session in before dark!  This baby was coming soon and three was no time for postponement. We made it out to Palma Sola gardens in time to cover half of the park. Most of the flora had been blown from the trees however, I thought her dress was a perfect complement to the fall look starting to show up in the gardens. Anyhow, the session was all about this sweet couple who is so thrilled to be having their first baby!  I can't wait to meet her!

Tori & Jamie's Anna Maria Island wedding

Friday, June 30, 2017

Tori and Jamie journeyed down from Canada to our Beautiful AMI for this tropical paradise wedding! Tori's mum own's properties on Anna Maria Island including the "Gables on Clark" and the "Lighthouse" where these fabulous getting ready ready images took place. The ceremony as well as the reception were held at the  The Sandbar restaurant right on the white sand beach of AMI.  Tori and Jamie were super fun and whimsical with an extra dash of style thrown in. The dapper pink jackets added a perfect island touch to the groomsmen!  Tori's dress was stunning to say the least. The waves in the dress mirrored the ocean's waves. Oh and I have to mention the adorable shoes! Clear blue heels with little fish for just the perfect touch of island life and something blue! Gold Pineapple's were the theme of this tropical reception. The best part of the entire day was just how much fun this couple and all of their guests were!  It was a true joy to be a part of this day! I was also so fortunate to have been assisted by the amazing Erin Danielle!
