Elizabeth & Diego/Sunken Gardens Engagement , St. Pete. FL

When Elizabeth said she wanted to do their session at Sunken Gardens in St. Pete I was thrilled. It has been a long time since I've had the chance to shoot there.  I had almost forgotten about it.  It's a beautiful place for a session. There is an abundance of  lush, tropical flora's and Fauna's.  The pergola's, pathways and bridges add to the abundance of options for photos.  The flamingos and fish add a splash of whimsy and color on top of color.  Oh and I just have to mention the dress! How perfect is it for these floral and flamingo shots? The options at Sunken gardens are endless!  Elizabeth and Diego plan to be married in Puerto Rico, if the island can get back on it's feet in time.  One way or another, it will be a tropical island paradise of a day!

Of all of the venues I get the pleasure of shooting, this is my very favorite.  There are many beautiful picturesque wedding venues around Florida however, this one is special.  The girls here take such good care of the couple and do everything to ensure a perfect day. From setting the timeline, to creating adorable settings, to fabulous food and above all an air conditioned barn for the reception! Mix all of this with some Southern charm and hospitality and you have yourself a place where dreams come true!They know their stuff at The Southern Barn!
